All about backsteinhaus...

Nicki Liszta is an emerging voice within the European dance scene.

The young choreographer studied dance-theatre at the Tilburg Dance Academy in the

Netherlands, completing her diploma in 2006. She has since been working as a dancer and choreographer in Germany, winning the prestigious Stuttgarter
Theaterpreis for zwischenhäuten (between skins) in 2008.

Nicki Liszta´s work focuses on human interaction. Her choreography takes a humorous look at social structures, without pointing a finger at them. She likes to play with expectations and experiment with different forms of choreographic expression.

Av@tar is Nicki Lisztas second full-length choreographic work. Her next production, Femme Fatale, premieres in Stuttgart on the 24th of October 2009.
